Greetings

So, here goes it, blog post numero uno!

My intention is to, well firstly check I can still recall how to write a sentence, and then to create a place for general rambling, opinionated-ness with a cheeky bit of self-expression to boot, that I can eventually morph into a travel blog when I get my act together and go wandering around the world late this year.

I feel I ought to explain the title, as I thought it was somewhat witty and kinda canny.

So it’s from a quote from Shakeyspeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream “And though she be but little, she is fierce”, and having spent a glorious year in Stratford-upon-Avon dabbling in the dark theatre arts, ‘tis kind of relevant.

Also,

I’m pretty short. 5ft 3 and a half, (the half is very important). And despite this if you know me I’m sure you can agree I’m a tad obstinate and annoying when I think I’m right, no matter how big my adversary (brace for mouthy blog posts).

But even though I’m just a small insignificant dot both geographically and in the grand scheme of things, I fully intend to cover as much ground as possible and see, do and say as much as I possibly can (lucky for you dear reader).

Naturally the it’s ‘wee’ because I’m loudly, proudly and a bit annoyingly happy to be from Scotland.

Well, that’s it for now! Consider yourself officially filled-in.

I’ll endeavour to keep it interesting! If not, at least my mum will still read it.
